I'm on my road to recovery and it's not 12 weeks to get myself sorted. I have just finished but the true fight begins. With what I have learnt at Fairhaven I could not more be more appreciate. You give your best to take out the best. The case managers, support workers, admin and the doctors and nurses want to see the best out of people. Looking forward in the post care with Kaz. Stay solid and learn what they have to offer. We aren't as strong we think but not weak as others think. Don't think it's going to be fixed straight a way but a journey to get there.

Amazing support. Only works if YOU #ANT IT! OR YOU JUST DONT GET IT!!!!! ALMOST 10 YEARS FOR ME NOW, SO MUCH ROTTEN STUFF HAS HAPPENED TO ME IN SOBRIETY!!! HOWEVER! I AM STILL DOING THE PROGRAMME!!!!! IT WORKS! BELIEVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!

Life changing at the most crucial time! it is challenging yet rewarding. Pros: overall the program works best for people who need help in nature and a fellowship of people going facing thier own demons with courage whilst giving u the freedom to have down time to get to know your true self again. Food is plentiful and healthier than a while back, u can buy your own tobaccco and junk food on weekends at shops if needed or extra health foods, toiletries. A structured program and help from salvos support staff, case workers and nurses do not hesitate to give it a try! Cons: there are some definite problems with thier outdated paperwork systems (more money on managerial administration staff neeeds to be spent) which is stressful for some with housing and other outside bills. Additionally thier protocol denies certain medications ie benzodizepams based sleep anti anxiety meds that are schedueled yet its not written in admission paperwork and some people are scripted these for the right reasons by thier long term GPs before coming in to help stabilize thier conditions. Therefore these people have to withdraw from these ontop of everything else once out of detox! they could be crucial to relapse prevention for some especially on exit if not given back. Yet if this place didnt exist i swear many would be dead or dying so every time u try u give ur body and mind a clean slate... thank god for the salvos!

Hard to get through no one answers phone

Great support and great people who give more then they should. My time in detox was hard but I'm a better and stronger person for being there.
