Tools to help you take the next step
Free, confidential, validated tools for screening, cost estimation, and treatment matching. All client-side β your answers stay in your browser.
Why these tools exist
Most Australians never make the GP appointment to ask the questions they want to ask about their drinking, drug use, or someone else's. That is a real loss β Australian addiction medicine is genuinely good and the public system is free, but you have to find your way in. The tools on this page are designed to help you take a single, structured step toward an answer without committing to anything.
All tools run entirely in your browser. Your answers are never submitted, stored, transmitted, or shared. We do not see what you type. There is no account, no email capture, no follow-up unless you specifically request a callback at the end. This is by design β addiction screening is sensitive data, and the only person it should belong to is you.
Each tool is built around a validated framework β the AUDIT-C is the WHO-recommended brief screen used in primary care worldwide; the cost calculator uses 2025β26 industry-survey ranges across Australian providers. Where a tool is screening rather than diagnostic, we say so.

AUDIT-C alcohol screening
The WHO-validated 3-question screening tool used by Australian GPs. Takes 60 seconds. Tells you if your drinking is in lower-risk, at-risk, or likely-alcohol-use-disorder territory.
