I've been left with no other options just because I am a smoker and the person on the phone was quite absent with little empathy and I've been given alternative numbers yet she didn't even add the area code to help me ring them I'm left with no options now soooo thanks lives lived well😒 not much help here

Mirikai, saved my life once before. The treatment only works if you put everything into it! They will help you. But you have to help yourself first! To the team at LivesLivedWell, I would like to say thank you. But I’d also like to come back. Who can I talk too?!

Mirikai’s staff care deeply about its’ residents but at the end of the day, the residents have to take responsibility for their past - those that complain probably couldn’t be bothered to contribute. Whilst a very solemn and upsetting place in life, Mirikai genuinely made me engage with others and interact - I don’t know if I could have be more grateful. To the three main advisers, thank you, otherwise also thank you- it it is never a solo effort.

Saved my life

Didn’t tell me what I needed to know when I needed to know it (told me required info late) and ended up costing me money to get a police check just for them to turn around and say I’m not welcome.

I would have rated this place higher. Most of staff I dealt with were great except for the floor manager/housekeeper, but was sometimes given duties of a treatment facilitator. This person is unqualified, inexperienced in dealing with addicts and lazy. I had belongings stored in the secure locker room and I understand they threw it out. Then she stuffed me around telling me to ask another staff member. And even hung up on me when I called about my belongings. I believe the housekeeper was also biased towards me. It’s disappointing they replaced my original treatment facilitator with that floor manager/housekeeper. The treatment facilitator was qualified and had many years of experience dealing with addicts. They show favouritism to certain returning residents. I had a trainee psychologist whose services I would not use again even if it was free. She worked against me and was unhelpful but had the audacity to tell me she was on my side, when I told her about an issue with my roommate. On a positive note I would like to thank Trent for taking the time to talk to me. And Danny the more competent psychologist who has moved on to private practice.

This place, changed my whole world. I went in for 4 weeks of treatment. I never would be here today if it weren’t for the Team @ Mirikai. Thank you for Saving me from myself!

This is a wonderful centre. An incredibly valuable place. The centre is set up in a fantastic way. The staff are very knowledgeable and responsive.
