I recently spent two weeks at WYLA Orange. I was verbally abused at 3am, 6th of March by Daniel who I shared a room with. Turns out because I snore loudly. WYLA Orange is filled with people who don't want to be there, rather to complete the program to favour them in court for pending charges. I went there under my own volition to try and break my habit with alcohol. Sadly, most people are there to curry favour in court. I alerted the authorities at WYLA about drugs being dropped off in a lone palm tree at the rear of the facility which was intercepted this morning. I went there for help but unfortunately most people go there to get a favourable response from the court, not me, I went there for help. So if you are looking for help with addiction, don't go to WYLA!!!!!! There are more drugs in WYLA than on the streets of Orange. I am tipping that 30% of participants at WYLA will end up in jail.

As a 60 year old woman with an alcohol dependency I would not recommend this place. After 12 hours on a train I was sent to a room with no further contact till dinner time. At that point I had been without alcohol for 2 days. This was their supposed detox unit. No obs were taken. I was given Valium before bed. I think their license should be revoked. I will be making a complaint to the health department.
