My friend in attendance was not allowed a compassionate release to attend a funeral, and after several weeks of allegedly being effectively denied access to a proper psychologist in favor of archaic 12 step group therapy nonsense, he told to me personally that he had decided the lack of in his opinion what he calls "true therapeutic care" was enough for him to leave, We had made plans for me to collect him on Sunday, however he was forcibly ejected from the facility... When he was released, the rehab allegedly stole his script [Did not allow him to have the document with which he can obtain from a pharmacy medicines prescribed to him] for life saving medication, which is an objectively huge duty of care issue for an alleged "health care" facility to orchestrate. This kind of thing is a likely event to effect a relapse during the time in which he moves into a better care facility... In my opinion: This facility is more interested in taking your money, and herding you through an inflexible program, that is anti-human... No tailored care, no flexibility, and in my opinion indignant spiteful "Care workers". Also the incredibly inflexible visitation opportunities would make attendance incredibly trying on some individuals. There are many other issues alleged to me by my friend in attendance ongoing with the clinic that cause an improper environment for recovery for all people attempting to become clean.... some may have success, but this place is in my opinion, more interested in making you institutionalized, than fixing the core abuse trigger, and working with you to accomplish your sobriety goals.
