My 4 week stay at The Bay, Byron Bay marked the beginning of my genuine recovery. After trying a number of alternative offerings, where I felt exploited for economic gain in my most vulnerable and down trodden state, The Bay offered a high quality service that felt entirely safe and offered me genuine hope from the get go. The compassion and care offered throughout was exemplary, was tailored to my individual needs which not only dealt with my abuse but made a prolific attempt to address the underlying issues I was trying to medicate away from - without this recovery is NOT sustainable. I managed to get my body moving in an organic way, nourish my body with a second to none food offering. Most of all, my 4 weeks saw me reignite with the person I’d thought I’d lost, the person I loved to be. Heart felt gratitude to staff and management. Highly recommend

After exploring our options in the United States we were unable to find a program that offered the one on one attention we wanted for our family member.after speaking with the bay in Australia it was clear they understood our situation and our need for privacy and were able to help. Traveling abroad was not a decision we made easily,but from start to finish ,what we experienced with the bay was nothing short of remarkable.The entire bay team was committed to my nieces treatment,from psychiatrist and psychologist to the chefs and they’re amazing food she was cared for and enjoyed every day. Her accommodation was incredible and being her first time in Byron Bay, What a beautiful place to do treatment. The treatment program and staff were exceptional! Staff showed lots of care, love and patience, faultless! I was monitored at all stages of my treatment to ensure high levels of comfort. I detoxed and got my body healthy and moving again.

I was a client of the Bay early 2023 to help me deal with increasingly frequent alcohol binges post a head injury and a long bout of Covid. The care I received at the Bay was beyond outstanding and truly customised to my needs and situation. I thrived in an environment where I was the only client onsite and benefited greatly from the extensive team of medical professionals whose focus was purely on me. The work was not easy but definitely helped me understand my situation. I was never a supporter of talk based rehabilitation prior to the Bay but now firmly see the benefits and firmly believe that the holistic focused help, support and education I received will be a turning point in my life over and above substance abuse issues.
