If you want it you'll get it at the shed. This was stepping out of my comfort zone into the unknown but I did it. I'm so grateful the experience, the people who became like family & all that it has given to me for me me to be where I am now 2yrs 3months into my recovery. I actually miss being there sometimes. The structure & routine of the program is something I really miss, along with my house mates, games night, bus karaoke, the conversations, the finding of yourself, the adventures, the workers, the connections. The Woolsheds surroundings are incredibly peaceful. Thanks Woolshed People π«Ά

This place is amazing , IF YOU actually want to get clean and sober my partner has done this program and has successfully succeeded with completion of the program it was not easy but do-able ,, the girl that I dropped off to dasa (pre entry for the Woolshed) was scared ( fear of the unknown) and had anxiety about doing this program (understandable) but I knew she had the strength in her to commit . It was not easy not hearing from your partner for the first two weeks but then that phone RANG . Hearing her voice I shed some tears my heart went warm she was ok ( sigh of relief ) missing me , missing home , missing the dogs , missing the birds but SHE was OK , over the next five months I noticed the strength I could see in her come out and she could see that in herself, living by a structured time table , living with no phone , no smokes , being apart of a community . The girl , my girl was back better than ever with the tools and right mindset to help her live sober and handle situations that may come up in life . The happy girl I once knew was back , guys girls this has not been easy but definitely worth it if you want to commit and get sober in a supportive environment . Iβd like to thank ALL the staff they have been amazing to me , and Iβd like to thank my wife for committing to the program and wanting a better life for herself and us .and then when your partner gets home she decides to hook up with one of the alcoholicβs that she met there leaving a17 year relationship for a alcoholic that used the time to connect with a vonrable girl and destroy a relationship between two good people

Well, I went there 12 years ago , at first I found it too strict, but by the end it was protecting me , so I could Properly Heal. Ive been Sober/Drugfree, and Strong ever since, and it turned My whole life around, as well as helped Me to Identify who was a genuine friend or support in My life, and to know what the "slippery" surfaces and snakes, in life are. God bless that place , seriously! βββββ

The Woolshed was an experience that saved my life. Thank you to all the staff and fellow peers that were there 20 years ago. Still going strong.

The woolshed IS NOT an easy program . But it is structured and designed to get your life back on track. If you are truely genuinly committed to meeting the real you - sober and clean - I cant express enough that the shed is the best place. And you will be talking to cousellors that have lived with addiction - the shed will help you meet the person that you are meant to be. YOU. You will not be judged. You will be making a wise decision - contacting the woolshed.
