There was a time in my life when everything felt brokenโ€”my mindset, my direction, and my relationships. I had lost myself, and with that loss came distance from my family, my purpose, and the future I once hoped for. Today, I can say with honesty and gratitude that the who's hunter TC Program didnโ€™t just help me regain my lifeโ€”it helped me build a better one. When I entered the who's hunter TC Program, I wasnโ€™t just looking for change; I needed transformation. From the very beginning, the program gave me structure, accountability, and something I hadnโ€™t felt in a long timeโ€”hope. It helped me slow down, reflect, and take responsibility for my actions while also teaching me that my past did not define my future. One of the most powerful things who's TC program gave me was the tools to stay on track. I learned how to manage my emotions, make better decisions, and face lifeโ€™s challenges without running from them. The program taught me discipline, self-respect, and the importance of consistency. These tools didnโ€™t just help me while I was in the programโ€”they continue to guide me every single day. Because of the growth I experienced, I was able to rebuild the most important thing in my life: my family. Trust was restored, relationships were healed, and I became someone my loved ones could rely on again. That alone is something I will forever be grateful for. Who hunters TC helped me understand that real change shows through actions, not words, and I strive every day to live by that. Today, I have a future I believe in. I have goals, direction, and a sense of purpose. I take pride in who I am becoming, not just for myself, but for the people who depend on me. My mind is clearer, my body is healthier, and my soul is at peace in ways I never thought possible. Gratitude doesnโ€™t even begin to cover how I feel today. I am thankful for the lessons, the discipline, the support, and the second chance at life that the program gave me. I wake up each day grounded, focused, and committed to continuing the journey of growth. Who Hunter TC Program didnโ€™t just help me regain my lifeโ€”it helped me build a better one. And for that, I am forever thankful.

It is documentedโ€ฆ.โ€Research on the history of Therapeutic Communities shows that these methods were designed to strip away the ego. But in 2026, many experts view this as COUNTER-THERAPEUTIC and RETRAUMATISING.โ€

Reflecting on my time at this place, I enjoyed the most part. Although due to people who are there for jail release purposes and or a get out of jail free card, they get the upmost respect, these individuals (not all) manipulate the whole program, They seem to be somewhat held of more high regard in the program. A worker there by the name of Gail I believe should not work there, she lacks empathy, doesnโ€™t know how to handle conflict without arguing and or making people feel small. Gail has had substance abuse issues and lived experiences of which I loved, although she has a very bad approach to those who are still in addiction, I believe she has a superiority Complex, of which is not nice; whilst the other workers are so beautiful! KYLIE is AMAZING! She has overcome lifeโ€™s trials and tribulations and still has empathy and CARES! Jamie also is the same, the other workers are great, although Gail really in my and many other peoples opinion (who Iโ€™ve spoken to and have been to and or completed this program) Agree that Gail is Rude, Makes you feel small & shouldnโ€™t be on this career path. She doesnโ€™t help, she makes matters worse and in my own experience makes you feel like going back into active addiction due to her way of handling things and her superiority Complex.

Hi my name is Adam O I was a resident at WHOS Hunter valley I entered the program on the 1st of November 2021 I had been using drugs & alcohol for close to 25 years. Meth was the main reason for my admission. I spent just over 12months on program completing the exit part of the program This place saved my life & taught me how to be accountable for my actions & behaviours I secured my own unit through housing by the end of the program. So does this program work YES

Life-Changing Experience at Who's Hunter I can honestly say that Who's Hunter helped me turn my life around. Before I walked through those doors, I was lost. But thanks to the incredible support, guidance, and care from the entire team, I now have a whole new life โ€” one that Iโ€™m proud of and excited about every single day. The staff at Who's Hunter didnโ€™t just treat me like a number โ€” they treated me like a person. They believed in me even when I didnโ€™t believe in myself. Their compassion, professionalism, and dedication made all the difference. If youโ€™re ready to change your life, I canโ€™t recommend Who's Hunter enough. Itโ€™s not just a rehab โ€” itโ€™s a place where real transformation happens. Thank you to everyone there for helping me become the person I am today.
